GUESS WHO KIDDED?....

Yesterday February 19th around 11:00 A.M. I saw that Ginger had the goo.  I immediately put her in her stall, and Mom and I watched her all day.  Besides Ginger, Puddins also was acting weird.  We watched Ginger and Puddins all day, and around 8:00 p.m., as I was sitting in Puddins' stall, I heard Ginger bleat.  This bleat is the special bleat that Ginger only uses when she is kidding.  I raced over to her stall, and indeed she was kidding.  I ran to the house and told Mom that Ginger was kidding.  I grabbed our bag full of towels and raced back to Ginger.  

Mom arrived when the first kid was starting to come out.  Mom had to pull it's front feet forward, and then the kid slid out.  The first kid to be born is darker like Ginger, but has a more sandy color. The Oberhasli certainly dominated her kids!  This kid is a doeling.  She is marked like an Oberhasli, but has some white around her mouth, eyebrows, and white ears (with some brown swirled in).  Another neat feature she has is that she doesn't have black stockings, they are a sandy brown!  I named her Spicy.

Ginger licked Spicy for awhile, then the second kid slid out (with mom's assistance).  The second kid is also a doeling!  She is the same color as Spicy, but has white markings on her face, feet, and around the base of her tail, similar to Toffee.  I named her Clove.

 Mom went up inside of Ginger to make sure that there wasn't a third kid.  There wasn't, and the afterbirth was coming out.

Another neat thing about them is that their heads are shaped like Ginger's.  

They immediately started to suck, and are very vigorous!
