The Festival of Lights is special for Christians as it's the most likely time of Christ's conception!  Remember Hanukkah on certain calendar years, does overlap December 25th as it did a few years back, putting Christ's birth September/October the following year- on the fall High Holy Days!  Christ Jesus in the book of John celebrated the Festival of Lights.  Even though this was common knowledge to the Antediluvians- after the flood- Pagans twisted this special date of Messiah entering into this dimension with tales of Nimrod, Semiramus and Tammuz.  Don't let commercialism, santa, and the trappings of Saturnalia overshadow MESSIAH!!!!

We have decided to start a company and therefore are scaling back on farm animals.  The chickens were elected to be the ones to leave the farm.  If anyone is interested please contact jdkb4gold@gmail.com 

We have about 30 laying hens (give or take a few) available- no roosters.  All are brown and green egg laying breeds.  Ages range from 4 months to 1.5 yrs, nothing older.  Several have been broody and hatched 4 clutches of eggs this year for us.  We have some purebred and some mixed barn yard.

Our purebreds are:  Australorp, Buff Orpington, Ameraucana, Blue copper Maran, Red Jungle Fowl, and although not technically "purebred" I have several Black sexlinks

The others are mixes of the above- with the exception of the Red Jungle Fowl- no mixes were born to this hen.

Would like to sell as an entire unit or will consider non-eating trades  for the whole unit of hens unless you have a purebred Belgian Malinois male puppy for trade + cash or pick of the litter puppy next year.

Both were bred to an Alpine male this fall (out of Pudasjarvi dairy goat buck pudasjarvi.weebly.com)- very nice goats here!!!!!! Check their website out.  My nannies are due to kid sometime mid February.  Would consider trading them for a Belgian Malinois puppy and maybe cash or pick of the litter on top of the two goats, depending upon whether or not your puppy is papered.
