I'm going to give you an update on everybody around the place, so that none feel jealous if one is left out lol. Be prepared for lots of photos!
Grandma (the cow, in case you forgot. Not my real grandma lol) came down sick in November. She had pneumonia. Dad gave her meds and she was fine in a couple days.
Grandma (a.ka. the cow that jumped over the moon. She looks like the milk cow in the old Micky Mouse cartoons)
Vindicator died around September 1.
We have absolutely no idea why. The arena was finished, and we had moved him and Grandma in there to let the pastures rest (they and all the other cows are now in the side pasture). The ground is dirt, with absolutely no grass or plants in there. There was nothing in there besides their water trough and feeder. There are no plants, baler twine, or garbage in there for him to have possibly ate, but two hours after Dock fed them (with him looking completely normal, fat 'n sassy) the dogs started barking with no reason. Dock went to investigate and found Vindicator bloated from here to kingdom come. Dad and I ran out, and poked a needle in him but we were too late. He literally twitched his last twitch when we got there. We've had quite a few animals bloat, but none as bad as he was. His legs were off the ground and he was the size of a small car. Really sad, how much he suffered and he also would have been big enough to able to eat this spring. We think he bloated from something he ate in the hay, but nobody else has had problems. I didn't get pictures of him because he was shipped off to the landfill the next day. Yes I know, I can be pretty gory, so lucky you, you don't have to suffer through this post...
We brought home the two male calves (Joker and Pinnochle), as well as three heifer calves dad bought this early spring from my grandparent's pasture in Kennewick.
Introducing:
Polly
Babe (a.k.a Betsy, Sweet Betsy from Pike)
She had to be separated for a couple months because her foot was injured. She just was limping a little bit, and it's fine now. We think she was kicked by another cow. Grandma can get a little pushy at the feeder
Reintroducing:
Joker
Pinochle
Big Jake
He's chewing hay here, which is why his jaw is sticking out
Blaze (I found out recently noticed that Blaze's left eye has developed a blue streak in it. The right eye has a very thin light blue ring. It's not the milky blue as when they go blind, but really clear light blue like in a person's eyes. He must have paint in his blood).

Puddins. I have such a hard time getting good photos of her, but I got some cute ones this time
Sugar on her favorite stump. She'll put her two front feet on it and stand there all day.
Ginger
Also check out my post with MY FIRST MUSIC VIDEO!!! I'm really excited about it :)
