"In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand...." Psalm 95:4-7
Our old calves, one by one, how they matured and what they look like now.
Lucky, one of the Jerseys
Goldie, another Jersey(the one with the blue eyes. They aren't blue anymore, but a steel blue grey! Interesting, huh?).
Tippy, our Angus/Holstein cross (named Tippy because the tip of his tail is white).
Beauty, another Holstein, named that by Mom because he seems to have a beauty mole below his eye. I know, he isn't beautiful anymore.
Midnight, our other Angus/Jersey cross named that because he used to be pure black. Now he is turning brown!
Cutie, another Holstein (I demanded his name be changed from Bloodshot to Cutie, as his eyes aren't bloodshot anymore. He used to be adorable, but I guess I am posting to late, as he isn't adorable anymore).
Punkin, the other Jersey
Liver, the other Jersey

Now, the new calves
Chocolate, a Jersey mix
Wonder, a Holstein named that because of his big wondering eyes.
Goofy, named that because he has such huge, goofy eyes and a goofy personality. Now he's gettin' real cute! Simply adorable!
"Mommy, when is my dinner bottle ready?"

Hilarious, another Holstein
Howdy, another Jersey. Isn't that white splotch on his head cute?
Oreo, another Holstein
Dottie, our little Angus/Holstein cross. Isn't she so darned cute? (better pictures of her later.)
(*Note: The bottom paragraph about Bumbler was added to the post September 13, do to my carelesness about forgetting to post Bumbler on. When we got him, the other calves were 2 months old.)
Bumbler. When we brought him home, he was so selenium deficient that he couldn't walk, his legs were so crooked! I named him Bumbler. He was also one of the biggest calves Dad and Mom had ever seen. He is just as tall as the 4 month old calves, and a lot meatier. Poor momma cow that calved him out!!
And last but not least, Warrior, another Holstein
Now, the new chicks!
The chicks, which are many colors, including blacks, browns, reds and greys!
Willy, which we decided must be a Buff Orpington/Welsummer cross, which we think is a rooster. Grrrrr!😠
One of the black ones is named Fiesty, because he is always fighting and sparring with Willy(who is also a trouble maker). He must be a rooster also.

My #1 favorite. She is a Blue Copper Maran/Americana cross. She is so cute! I named her Moonstone
And my #2 favorite, Topaz, who must be a Red Sexlink crossed with one of our roosters(We had Welsummers, Buff Orpingtons and an Americana rooster. The Americana rooster is the only rooster that is still alive. We butchered the rest).
Licorice, the only surviving rooster. He is an Ameraucana.

One of our Austrolorp hens(we have two).
Princess Charming, my favorite chicken of all that we have! She is a Silkie/Bantam cross. I love the pom pom on her head! She lays small, bluish/green eggs.
Snow White, our other Americauna hen, which lays beautiful blue eggs.
One of our Blue Copper Marans
Our only Red Sexlink
Now, the garden.
It is doing wonderful for the most part, except the hot crops, such as the tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchinis, ect.... The plants themselves are doing great, except we haven't gotten many cucumbers and zucchinis yet(we are usually swamped with those) and only one tomato(they have a lot of tomatoes on them, just none have been ripe yet), and only two crooknech squash.
The rhubarb
These are the holihocks. Strange enough, last year the stalks were loaded with blooms, but this year there are hardly any flowers or flower buds on them. What flowers there are look old and burnt up
Now, what ya'll have been waiting for. The goats!
Eating hay. We are going to build a feeder for them.
Bunny
Sundae
Morning Glory, who is actually starting to get pretty
Rose Petal, still in her ugly/goat teenage stage. It is taking her forever to get out of it.
And Starburst, who has my favorite head shape of them all😊.
Frosty, who is so handsome and adorable all in one, with his beard and fluffy hair on his head.
Big Jake. Dock(my brother) and I have been riding every day for about 2-3 hours each day. It is so fun! Now I always ride bareback, as I don't know how to saddle up yet (Mom and Dad are going to show me) and I now am loping (cantering) everywhere! It is my favorite gait🐎.
Old Bay
The roses which are fading. I had taken pics of the baby girl goats next to them (we are going to sell them. I am going to do a seperate post on that), but I lost Mom's phone(I don't have one. I had set it on the bumper of the truck then we drove off and it fell off somewhere) and the pics with it(They were on it and I had not downloaded it on the computer yet).
That's all for now. I will be posting again soon (maybe today) another post of our baby goats for sale (Starburst, Morning Glory, Rose Petal, Bunny and Sundae).
