Welcome to Grace on the Mountain's very first post!
We are gearing up for our 2018 kidding season. All goats are due to kid the first week of February. We are offering a reservation list this year so you have the first option to buy when they are born. You put your name on the list, and we call you when the kid(s) is born- if you don't want it, we go to the next person on the list.
All of our goats are CAE/Johnes/CL tested negative as of March 2017. We keep a closed herd and haven't introduced anything new into it. We have also tested negative on Q fever.
We do not disbud our kids. If you want to disbud, you must do that yourself when you take your kids home. We can whether a buckling if you request, otherwise they are left intact. All our kids are fed their mother's colostrum for the first day and then put onto a bottle. They will be ready for pickup when they are 48 hrs old.
Our herd sire is a registered American Alpine, and our does are either Oberhasli or Alpine. So all of our kids (with the exception of a few) will be Ober-pines. They are all chamoisee and some will be broken (our buck sire is broken), and SOME MAY HAVE WATTLES!!!!!! (we love wattles here).
Prices are:
doelings- $125
bucklings- $65
Prices are firm. No multiple discounts.
